Who we are

ATValerio's is an ATV rental company owned by a native Costa Rican family

The goal of ATValerios is to be a friend during your experience, helping you with anything from surfing to tours, adventures, and local recommendations. We know that vehicle rental is much more than signing a contract and explaining the policies. It is traveling on dirt roads, discovering new places, beaches, people, surf spots and enjoying new sunsets. It is memories that will accompany us throughout life.

Our priority is to provide convenient information, reliable vehicles, and quality, transparent service that gives our customers the best experience possible.

Explore the lush tropical forest, its secluded and beautiful beaches, and towns of Santa Teresa, Mal País, Manzanillo, Cabuya and Montezuma in an easy-to-use all-terrain vehicle.

There are many adventures in ATVs that you should not miss, such as knowing the most famous beaches with impressive views, local shops, traditional cuisine and watching magical sunsets.

Our office is located 300 meters north of the Public School in Santa Teresa, Cobano, Costa Rica, right in the center of town. Look for us next to Kina’s surf shop, across the street from Selina North.

Kymco MXU 250cc

– $70 + tax per 24 hours
– $455 + tax per week

Atvalerio’s Requirements
– Valid, original, psychical Driver’s license
– A2 type license (for Costa Rican nationals & residents)
– ID (identity card / passport)
– Credit Card (not debit): Visa, Mastercard or AMEX
–Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

As a guarantee we request:
– Guarantee deposit per vehicle: Kymco MXU250cc $500 to $1000 (Credit card only, not debit: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX)

Additional Services
– Surfboard Rack: one-time fee of $10 for the entire rental, if you reserve in advance.
If requested at time of Delivery $25.
– Refueling Options: Pay in advance for a full tank of fuel and return the vehicle with an empty tank. $25 + taxes. (If you do not select the fuel service option and return the vehicle with less than a full tank, you will pay a fixed fuel service charge of $30 + taxes.)

Optional Theft Protection
We offer optional theft protection for $5/day. In the event your vehicle is stolen, your responsibility will be reduced to a $1500 deductible. Without coverage, you must pay the full price of the vehicle and the cost of recovering the non-returned vehicle. This does not cover any form of liability, medical, or collision damage insurance.

Cancellation and refund policy for prepaid reservations
– Cancellation of reservations due to clients misbehavior will be charge in 100%.
– Reservations cancelled by customer with less than 12 hours notice will be charged in 100%.
– Reservations cancelled by customer with 13-24 hours notice will be charged in 50%.
– If customer returns and closes their rental early for less days than originally reserved, the customer will not be refunded any unused portion of the payment.
