No. The traffic law in Costa Rica establishes that quads and motorcycles are vehicles designed for only two people, so it is not possible to drive with any additional passengers.
According to current legislation, driving with children under five years of age as passengers is not permitted.
We have helmets for children who are 5 years old or more.
In order to prevent sanctions from the authorities, it is a legal requirement to wear properly fastened helmets and safety reflectors both at day and night.
By law, it is prohibited to drive on the beach.
The traffic law of Costa Rica establishes 18 years as the minimum age required to be able to drive a vehicle. Additionally, having a valid driver’s license in good conditions is also a requirement.
According to the company’s policy, it is essential to inspect the vehicle before the client concludes the rental.
It is essential for the client to be present to formalize the contract, sign it, review the documentation or requirements, make payment and receive basic instructions on the operation and care of the vehicle.

Payments can be made in cash, either in costa Rican colones or US dollars, as well as by credit or debit card, or through a payment link.
This operation temporarily freezes or blocks an amount of your line of credit to guarantee a payment for any additional charges at the end of the rental.
A security deposit is not a charge itself; it is just a block of an amount on your credit card. Charges; on the other hand, are processed as an amount payable or “sale” and are recorded on your account statement.
The security deposit serves to ensure payment of any unforeseen additional costs that arise during the rental of the vehicle. It is used as a guarantee in case of accidents or breaches of contracts, so that eventual damage to the vehicle can be covered.
We can send the main tourist attractions in the area by means of a link where you can find information, photos and the route through Google Maps that will allow you to get to the places of your interest.
In Santa Teresa there is no gas station. Gasoline is sold clandestinely by the gallon, and points of sale vary. It is recommended to check the location when renting the vehicle.
The closest gas station in Santa Teresa is located 14 km away in the town of Cobano.

We offer optional theft protection for $5/day. In the event your vehicle is stolen, your responsibility will be reduced to a $800 deductible. Without coverage, you must pay the full price of the vehicle and the cost of recovering the non-returned vehicle. This does not cover any form of liability, medical, or collision damage insurance.
Cancellation and refund policy for prepaid reservations
– Cancellation of reservations due to clients misbehavior will be charge in 100%.
– Reservations cancelled by customer with less than 12 hours notice will be charged in 100%.
– Reservations cancelled by customer with 13-24 hours notice will be charged in 50%.
– If customer returns and closes their rental early for less days than originally reserved, the customer will not be refunded any unused portion of the payment.
